IGA is a name we are all familiar with within Australia and they have just been awarded for the second year running, the highest customer satisfaction award for Online Grocery Shopping by Canstars Blue annual review. Compared against Woolworths & Coles, IGA received top marks in 5 of 8 categories including the most important one ‘Overall Satisfaction.’ At Myfoodlink we provide the eCommerce platform for over 200 of IGAs largest online stores across Australia and are extremely proud to have helped support them in achieving such a fantastic award.
1 in 4 respondents of Canstar Blue’s latest research expect to do their grocery shopping online going forwards, meanwhile, 14% of the people interviewed already do their shopping online. 38% of Canstar Blue’s survey respondents said that the ability to buy their groceries online was paramount to them during the lockdowns.
Most IGA stores have been part of their communities for decades, the customers often know the people behind the counters, the owners and their families. During the lockdowns, many owners stepped up to support their community to stay safe by shifting their business online offering to deliver groceries and contactless click & collect. It’s this great service that is the reason why locals love supporting locals, and it’s no surprise that IGA got the Overall Satisfaction prize once again.
